Student Adventures is pleased to welcome their latest member to the team, Tom Bartley. Tom has a long track record in student fundraising from his years volunteering with Rag. He has also recently completed a successful sabbatical post as Manchester Rag's Co-ordinator, whilst gaining a breadth of experience in student fundraising and helped Manchester students to raise in excess of £330,000 for good causes last year.

Tom applied for a paid internship with Student Adventures in the summer to work on the delivery of two of our great adventures, London to Paris Bike Ride and the epic Bratislava or Bust! Having made a valuable contribution to the team and helping the adventures to run smoothly it was a natural fit.

Tom's role as Adventure Leaders Manager is to use his very recent Rag experience to relate to, coach and support our Adventure Leaders all over the country  as they in turn work hand-in-hand with Rags to support and encourage students to take on an incredible adventure in support of our fantastic charity partners.

When asked what inspired Tom to apply for a paid summer internship, he replied, "It seemed like a great opportunity for an interesting summer job, a chance to see new places, and make a difference to charity whilst being part of a dynamic team."
