Our congratulations go to Nottingham Karnival who last night at their annual Snow Flake Ball announced an incredible total of £1.32 million raised for good causes after much hard work from students across campus in 2011.

Student Adventures were delighted to be in attendance to share this fabulous evening and we've enjoyed working with and supporting Notts Karni by working closely together to provide unique opportunities for Nottingham students to take on adventures in aid of our charity partners.

Special note has to go to Karni Director, Chris Bowman, who took an unpaid sabbatical from his studies to lead the team in this incredible feat of commitment and passion for supporting charity.

We look forward to carrying on working with Karni in the New Year and we wish Barney Cornick the incoming director and his team the best of luck in carrying on the long established traditions of this great student fundraising organisation.
