The Principals of Student Adventures

Student Adventures is about being able to offer the student population of the UK an opportunity to undertake outdoor adventures in the UK and further afield and making it accessible to them by having affordable registration fees and achievable fundraising targets without compromising a charity's ROI.

How do we do this you may ask; well we focus on core components of events and reduce costs where we can to provide an acceptable level of service to students. For example our London to Paris Bike Ride has two nights camping accommodation instead of hotel stays, which add to the adventure, but also allows us to keep costs and sponsorship targets lower than industry norms.

Student Adventures believes that is vital to support student development and work in partnership with student fundraising organisations and other relevant student bodies around the country. This means Student Adventures doesn't just market our Adventures at the student body, but we work closely with Student Unions and student leaders to be able to jointly promote the opportunities to take on an interesting challenge whilst being able to support our charity partners.

Furthermore we are committed to employing student staff in our business to provide interesting and rewarding employment opportunities. As well as this we organise our own Student Adventures - Student Leaders Conference to help the students we work directly with on a day-to-day basis to make the most of the skills that they have developed.

Student Adventures work with charities in a partnership model. This means that we have a limited number of charities that we work with on our Adventures this allows us to:

  • Make a strategic impact on your charity's student programme and service delivery
  • Work closely with charities on recruitment and donor care to maximise new supporters for your cause
  • Minimise administration and give dedicated account management for our partners
